you download it compressed, but uncompressed on your HD it's about 20 gigs now, and will probably be about 24 gigs at launch. That seems like a lot in some ways, but the world is big and we have a lot of content. Also, 24 gigs in a world with HDs selling cheap that are hundreds of gigs in capacity isn't really a huge deal, IMHO.
