Guild edition is the wrong term. It's really a collectors edition. Has nothing to do with guilds.
And no, the game is NOT another high level raid fest, I promise you that. If you need some linkes that go into the concerns you've voiced, let me know -- there's a LOT Of info about the game out there that I think would alleviate your concerns completely.
