Im offiziellen Forum hat sich Brad McQuaid zu den einzelnen Startpunkten der Rassen (http://vsoh.info/artikel.php?ID=207) geäu߸ert. Es wird mehrere Rassen geben, die den gleichen Startpunkt haben oder ganz im nahen Umfeld der anderen Rassen ihren Lebensweg beginnen werden. Neben den Startpunkten wurden in einem anderen Thread (http://www.vanguardsoh.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=13820) die im Internet kursierenden Rassennamen bestätigt.
Multiple starting villages/towns per continent; where you start depends on the race you select. Many races start in the same town, or in different small villages that are near each other. For example, Halflings start in Rindol Field in Thestra, and humans in Tursh Village, but Rindol and Tursh are fairly close together.
The idea again is that people can choose different races and hopefully still start near their friends who've chosen differnet races to play. Now, this isn't true for all race combinations -- you may find yourself on Qalia and your friend on Thestra, which means it may take longer to hook up... we really needed to compromise here and not cram all races into one continent. So, not total freedom to start near your friends, but a decent amount. I think most people will be happy, but I'm sure there will be some disappointment as well.
I'm putting together an official list of all the races and with that should be able to include the village they start out in and on which continient that village is found.
