Not trying to make excuses, but WoW was in development longer, had more experience with large teams, and over twice our budget.

We *will* catch up -- I can only humbly ask that you grant us some patience. The team didn't take a break after launch and are still working crazy hours to make this an even better game. The coding team is focused on bug fixes, and the designers are tweaking content and putting in new content as fast as they can. I am very proud of the team and the long hours they are putting in and have been for some time.

Yes, we did license an engine and that has helped us mostly from an art standpoint and has allowed us to build upon that engine and create what I truly believe is the most incredible fantasy world to-date. But that doesn't affect the coders who need to fix bugs and the designers who use in-house tools to add and tweak content.
