Is parleying the merchant and outsider NPCs an exploit? - Vanguard TACT *************

If something is a controversial exploit, we wouldn't ban without messaging the game community first.

Part of my job is to flag things with CS as exploitive or not. While it is NOT DESIRABLE that people are gaining Merchant and Outsider Presence in this manner, as these NPCs are demonstrably not attached properly, it is also not exploitive, as these NPCs are otherwise behaving within the bounds of normal play at this game build.

So the short answer is: not exploitive. The slightly longer request is: Please list for us these NPCs. We have systems coming that will both use and provide Merchant and Outsider Presence, and in both of their cases are MUCH easier than grinding. :P
