Quite simply, if noone had posted a single thread about xp being too slow do you thing they would have changed it?...of course not! They will react to player feedback, and although it may often be presented in a less than polite or well structured manner on these boards it is feedback non-the-less



Actually, we've stated our reasons for modifying experience multiple times on these message boards.

Looking at raw imperical data, a /vast majority/ of our player base is leveling between 25% to 40% slower than we desire them to. This is players that purely adventure and do not do diplomacy or crafting.

The bleeding edge, ultra hardcore and commited folks, are leveling about 20% faster than we expected the commited to level.

Having been at this a while, we are not going to punish the average player because the ultra commited level faster. We will say congratz to the very commited players.

The claims of OMG game X 2.0 and "they are caving to the masses" is simply incorrect.

Our exp changes have to do with /our/ vision of the game. Not anything posted by members of the community on these message boards.
