They are both monks. One is using handwraps with unarmed animations, while the other is using a bladed staff which uses the martial staff animations.

I know that they do have exactly the same cloak, it's the reward from a fairly popular quest, I have one on my bard. As for the rest, there is some difference as well. Syrok is wearing a leather BP with nothing underneath it (like a cloth or chain shirt) while Malacki is wearing a padded cloth shirt. As Brad's earlier reply mentions, only a fraction of all our character looks are currently attached to items in game. More will come as the game gets closer to completion.
