At what range will another player or NPC appear in Vanguard?

When I played SWG, I remember I had a sniper rifle that could see pretty far, but it was worthless because enemies didn't appear until I was like 64 meters from them.

In WoW, the enemies sometimes don't appear until I'm practically on top of them (except in instances and BGs).

So I'm curious about how it's going to be in Vanguard. I could only find one sentence that alludes to this in one of the FAQs, but it isn't specific.

Still be worked out, so we don't know yet. Obviously, the farther away the better, but we are still working on this.
