The fact that SOE is the publisher makes my point hit home even more. You know Smedly has had his eye on that 14k gold toilet seat for the bathroom in his summer home, and he is looking to cash in. Even if he has no control over when it goes live, I am sure he is encouraging it vigorously.

By the way, to the original poster of this thread. There is fun solo content all the way up as you level higher. The group dependent part only comes into play if you want the best items for your character. If you don't mind having descent gear but not the best, you can solo constantly and have a great time.

With all due respect, Smed has done EVERYTHING possible to give us as much time and money and support that he can. The reality is that SOE is under Sony Pictures and there are financial realities and the game must be released and go commercial at some point, and it is soon (we'll be announcing the launch date in the next week or so). But I just wanted to assure you that Smed and the entire SOE team has been great.
