Before coming to the assumption that you will not be able to visit www.vanguardsoh.com and find all the important news and updates concerning the game and the community, then I ask you to please read the original post and any posts I have made thus far.

As a community team member, it is my job, my paid responsibility to ensure that we continue to foster a community. We have put hours of thought and internal debate into this idea, it did not happen overnight, and we brought up and discussed all of the concerns in this thread.

It is our job as a company to provide the customers with tech support, in game support, community interaction and feedback, and most importantly a game to play. It is our responsibility, to you the customer, to provide you with the best means of interacting with us and for us to read your feedback. We want a healthy and active community, we strongly feel that this is the best way of going about it, after many years of personal experience and many hours of talk.

We are a company that is all about community, it was true day one and it is true today, if we did not feel this was the best thing we can do for you the players then we would not be doing it.
