As a matter of fact you don't need to grind faction at Khal to get to Thestra. Just take the teleport from the east side of the city (on the docks) to Tanvu. From there take the ship new Targonor an ta-daa... you're on the right continent. Now it's just a matter of getting from New Targonor to Halgarad without getting "ze krap" beaten out of you.
