Ello again,

Im a believer in seeing all good things and bad in games, so decided to balance my "animations are tehsuckah" thread with a comment on one thing about VG that truely shines for me.

Im a huge fan of music in games, it's somewhat of a pastime of mine, and I just wanted to voice my utter love for the music in this game. Im still only an ickle level 7 in the starter area (erm, the first human one, Thrush village ?) and the music around that area (Im hoping later areas have extra music) is just superb.

Im a firm supporter for the need of more "adaptive" or less linear type approaches to music in games, I think the work of the composer and those involved in the technical music side of things for this project has been exceptional. Music is sadly often overlooked by players and the technical work behind it is much more difficult to appreciate that fancy graphics etc.

So major kudos to all involved in case any of them thread lurk here or if anyone can pass a message on, its mightly impressive.

(PS, apologies for not knowing specific names of those involved, I havent researched the music in VG yet but am very much looking forward to finding out more about it and hearing new music as i venture around the lands)

Todd Masten composed vanguards soundtrack and it was recorded with the Seattle Symphony Orchestra. Todd goes by Nino on the forums, and I agree with you entirely.

Wait until you first journey to Kahl, the music that queues between the Fated Lovers statues is astounding, I always have to stop and listen for a few minutes
