I hate Qalia however, and would recommend either Thestra or Kojan for starting a new character.
VG to me so far seems well suited to someone that can solo quest or find 2 or 3 people on the friends-list to group up with and do the 3 dot areas and dungeons. Add a couple puggers for a 4+ dot dungeon, but 4+ dot dungeons only make up 1/3 of the content.
I am just shy of level 20, and I have soloed the entire way. There is PLENTY of solo stuff to do at all levels, and we are adding more. I've found a few pockets where things are not consistent, and they are getting addressed as we find them. The one thing that bothered me this weekend was the lack of 'named' spawns and roamers in the overland. I ranted about it this morning in the meeting, and I am going to make a push to adjust some of the spawn metrics and density. I think things are a little too stringent; especially at the low to mid levels. I was killing mutated ettercaps in the Ulvari region last night and I got a sweet world drop helmet that was a significant upgrade and damn, I got happy. I guess the trick is balancing the 'oh sweet new loots', against 'oh lame, another piece for me to vendor or auction'. I've seen one outdoor named in 19 levels, and either my luck is pathetic, or we need to make some adjustments. So uh, expect a change in this regard very soon.</div> <div> __________________
