Then the problem is what you've related to the community. It's not like I'm making this stuff up - I've been supporting Sigil and Vanguard for a long time and have actively recruited a number of people to play the game. If you find the claim of "spin doctoring" insulting, then maybe you should consider its validity rather than discounting it offhand as an intended insult.
Heck, you yourself even admitted that a lot of the temporary things have become more permanent. You were honest in this response, which I appreciate. I wish it was an approach taken more often.
Well, if you see a post by me which is "dishonest" let me know. I always try to be open and honest (heck I should macro this, I've posted it about 30 times).
Yes, temporary things sometimes become permenant. I'm not sure where anyone at Sigil has ever claimed they /might not/ become permenant. Isn't the mantra that the game is never "done"?
I don't feel that is spin doctoring in the slightest. Spin doctoring is when someone goes out of their way to lie about a subject more or less, unless I'm working on a totally different wavelength than the rest of reality - which sometimes happens
I'm coming across as a bit frustrated in this series of posts, and to be honest, I am. For that I appologize.
However, could everyone please keep in mind that:
1. There is no massive "bait and switch" going on as I've seen claimed
2. The game is going to be tweaked as time goes by
3. Anything stated on a message board over the last five years is not a promise or a contract signed in blood
