This should become less and less of an issue as we continue to optimize and faster and faster hardware comes out and cheaper and cheaper hardware comes out. Like I posted very recently, EQ was one of the first hardware only games and that hurt it short term, but long term it was definitely the right call to push the limits of tech in the beginning because the game aged more slowly. Vanguard, the way the engine is architected, should enable us to keep the game looking current and take advantage of new tech even more easily.
