Specifically I was refering to those people who told other people that they shouldn't play Vanguard, that the game wasn't for them, that they should 'go back to WoW'. This I think has hurt Vanguard short term, but as more and more people play and enjoy the game and tell their friends about it, this will be less and less of an issue.

I've got nothing against our loyal fans who have been spreading the good word about Vanguard for years who are often called 'vanbois'; rather we are indebted to them. I'm talking about the subset who seem to want Vanguard to be their own private club and turn other people off from the game.
