Seriously though, i'm sure you'll get those who will accuse you of "WoWifying" Vanguard. But if it gets more people playing, it'll be worth the tradeoff. Falling 30-50% below the expected turnout is pretty serious. Perhaps next year i'll be in a better position to give it another go.

Plus I still truly believe that casual, core, and hardcore can co-exist and even be interdependent in an MMOG. I think VG made a good stab at it and will get even better at it, and future MMOGs will do even better.
