There is a known work around, you go into your profile and activate the secret question then cancel. You will be asked your secret question when you cancel the account and after that everything seems to work as normal. Test this, if it works, send an email out to all accounts to warn them. Do something besides trying to blame SOE. I know its not the most interesting thing in the world helping clients cancel subscriptions, but every person you burn with this will never re-subscribe and will do everything they can to convince their friends not to subscribe.
This is Sigil's game, even if you are outsourcing billing, you are still responsible. (All comments here are meant for Sigil management and not Elrar in particular.)
While I fully understand your concerns, I will assure you we do pass this information to SOE and follow up on it. We cannot follow every personal request, we can simply ensure that your complaints are heard. Problems such as these are extremely important to us at Sigil as we continue to value our players and our game.
