If a lot of people were not playing and enjoying the game, but also had issues with it and were therefore posting, then Vanguard would truly be in trouble. The sound of silence on message boards would be the truly scary scenario, because that would be people were not playing and didn't care about the game.

That said, there is a subset of posts by players (and likely non-players) that are not constructive and purely negative for the sake of being negative. My hope would be that the moderators of these boards would identify and deal with this small group, especially on afiliated sites.
