Harvesting titles are earned at the end of a tier. You won't receive the initiate tier title until you reach 400.

Books are read to unlock the next tier. You needed to have read the initiate book to go beyond 300 and since your skills are beyond 300, you've already read the books.

The rate of skill-ups decreaes as you increase in skill. How many nodes have you harvested without a skill-up? Are you getting any skill-ups in your Harvesting skill?
