vs
71.38dps, 37 str, 12 dex, 33 HP, +1 melee crit chance, +1 melee accuracy level 46 heroic QUESTED (Bladestaff)

Now the Crafted one's dps doesn't change matter what you do. So right now theres a 13dps disparity. Considering that for a weapon unless your a dps caster and sometimes a full healer DPS is all that matters. Other stats and procs are nice but DPS is what makes it wanted and such a dps disparity makes the crafted subpar on that alone.

But now lets compare the rest.... 16 str and 8 dex vs 37 str and 12 dex the crafted loses again. +1 melee crit chance and +1 melee accuracy vs +7 Melee Evasion... thats somewhat tough... people rather have crit chance and it could be argued that the +Melee evasion doesn't do anything or barely anything the same arguement may be able to be made with about everything else like +melee accuracy or +melee crit so leaving the technical arguements out the melee evasion comes out ahead a bit.

In the end though a weapon is menat for straight hardcore dps. When picking a weapon thats all people care about 1. high dps and 2. good speed (depends on player if they want fast and small or slow and big however).

This same issue comes into play with many many crafted items. Crafted heavy armor sometimes lacks because its armor followed by str/dex that is usually wanted. When the armor is already lower then a quested or dropped because the adventuring items were tweaked better for the class's to use the crafted becomes obsolete and subpar. The issue can be found everywhere, crafted items are NOT tweaked for those likely to use while adventuring aquired items mostly are making the adventuring items better in the adventurers eyes and ontop of that free or at least far cheaper then crafted.

Like I've been saying the fix would be to go along and make tweaked to crafted. It doesn't even need to be on an indiviual scale but could be done if the database is done semi decently in mass. Raise crafted weapons dps say 3-10% depending on weapon/rarity across the board and adjust the leftover points for other things downward. Heavy armor raise the overall AC by 3-10% depending on rarity/slot and downgrade stats by the higher point useage on armor. Then lower the AC on light armor raising stats on a reverse note. Medium armor could be left alone on the regard or also possibly having AC lowered a tiny smidge giving more room for stats maybe. Then make it capable for more dusts to go on more slots. Looking at the Graystone Bladestaff we CANNOT as crafted put Crit%, Accuracy%, and +HP on the same piece of gear. We can only do one of those 3. Maybe make some new dusts that would do a few things like that down the road but right now having 2-3 pieces of gear you can put +accuracy on and +crit chance on and those being the same slots is crazy when you can find such stats for every slot adventuring wise.

In the end we see crafted items need alot of work to become equal since crafted items are not tweaked. Also I argue that crafted items SHOULD actually be better then any adventuring aquired gear quested/dropped unless its raid aquired non crafted and in that case crafted gear that needs raid items should be better then those.

Sorry btu the dropped bladestaff is using a bonus damage mod for some of it's points and the crafted is not. The crafted one does have 7% melee evasion however which is quite expensive points wise. There is nothing wrong with these two and not all combinations are going to be the best combinations. There is no bug here.
