1. Striking dusts still drops and it still increases DPS by allocating points to damage bonus

2. The only time a dust should lower the base damage of an item is if you are adding a focusing dust to a striking combination, and with the item revamp we just did that won't even happen anymore

Why do you think your above statement is in anyway true?
