I personally have only been aware of this issue, and had it under my jurisdiction, for less than a week. As I'm sure you can imagine Lynx, we are very busy here and are trying as best as we can to repair any and all issues that come up.
When an issue is not reproducable, or happens randomly, it makes it very hard to fix. Rather than beat our heads against the wall, we'll move on to other issues and tasks that are just as important and easy to diagnose. That does not mean, however, that we are ignoring it. Yes, I know the crashes are constant on live. The fact is, our internal server has no problems what-so-ever. I can do the recipe over and over again. The current theory is that the live data is not up to date with the working data. When we patched last, the data patched was older than the data I had available to test with.
As for customer service and GMs, I'm not a member of that department. You'd have to speak with them. If you have issues with aspects of the game, and ask customer service for assistance, they certainly have the power to lend aid (though they can't repair bugs). You are welcome to contact them through the available channels for any appropriate concerns. They are there to help, afterall.
I realize this thatch issue is frustrating, but we are doing the best we can. We are not happy with it either. We're not happy with any bugs. I apologize for the problems this is causing, but at the moment, my hands are tied. I hope you can understand.
Thank you.
