Harvesting is not a full sphere. It is a sub-sphere that links adventuring and crafting.

There are some crafting quests that use harvesting, and there may be adventuring quests that involve it to some degree as well. Harvesting also has a couple of quests that are just harvesting.

However, there are very few pure harvesting quests. While it is not impossible to make them, they are much lower priority than quests for the three main spheres: crafting, diplomacy, and adventuring.
