I'm all about subtle/tasteful effects, but what we've seen are either nonexistant or very brief and choppy (the fireball effect in the recent video is like 1 frame, a quick graphic of a fireball turning, there's no transition to, or away from the effect, it just blinks onto the screen.



Much cooler particle effects are on their way, and some are already in (check out the screenshots we released recently where the roots come up from the ground).
