This issue clearly needs to be tested in a real Telon world.
You are QAing a bug using a test sample that clearly does not perfectly replicate a real chunk with real mobs.
Why would you chose to add the additional chance for error, when creating a SAMPLE when you really need to send out a test team, into the real world.
Yes this may require more of the QA teams time. They are busy, and have many things to test, but. For multiple patches now you have ensured us that the UR hides are in, and obtainable through normal node harvesting, and not just a depletion bonus.
Real life players, accross all servers, accounting for a countless number of hours have taken their free time, to TEST this for you. The least that could be done is invest more of YOUR time (SoE's time) in ensuring this bug is fixed, without a shadow of a doubt, because we are about done investing ours.
Not only are we done testing this bug for you, but just ask on any server how easy it is to find an active T5 leatherworker. The frustration generated by this single bug is enough to drive practically any leathercrafter away from this game, and then in turn, make the 5 jobs that wear medium, solely dependant on Adventuring to acquire their heroic armour.
Please Silius, this needs to be tested properly.
I'm sure you feel, that with your personal attention to detail, to create the test sample, that nothing can go wrong, and its a perfect replication. Well, we are all human, and your still dealing with code that is not crafted by you only.
Please please please please please, either invest the time on your end, or atleast ensure the data is on test, and contact a few people to buff some toons and test it for you.
Another patch that says its fixed, and its not is just going to be to much.
Not sure why you would think so but all of our testing is done in the real Telon world. The data that is on our test server is the same data that gets pushed live. The servers are no different.
