Once you have Allied yourself with a House and then you come back to speak with the Scribe again, the only dialog available from him is in regards of leaving your allied House for the sum of 500 NT prestige.
There is no current dialog available from him which would indicate which House you are currently in, however, Spex said that he was going to add that in order to help the folks who have forgotten which House they are allied with. That last part hasnt made it to Test yet though.

Yes, that stuff is completed and in QA testing. No ETA on when it will arrive on Test.
