Why?
Having those extra races and classes doesn't in and of itself make a good game. A game with 37 races and 25 classes or whatever looks impressive on a box I guess, but if they're not unique, fun to play, and work well together within the game, then you still fail, regardless of impressive bullet points.
I think you'd be far better served by a smaller number of well developed, interesting races. As for classes, I'd much rather use a skill based system to let players develop their own class/playstyle. Something along the lines of the way UO did things. Want to be a fighter? Invest time in fighting to build skill. Want to do some magic? Work on your magic skills to build them up. Of course, you only get a finite points pool, so at some point putting more into magic will detract from your fighting skills.</div> __________________
