The hatred between the Palestinians and Israelis is horrible. Both hate each other, call each other beasts, etc. They have both done terrible things to each other.

I go back to who instigated it. If you go way back and argue England, the League of Nations, etc. post WW2 (and even going back before that -- there were plans post WW1 to make a new Israeli homeland) had no right to take what was then English held territory and give a small part to the Jewish people dispersed across the world and then give the rest back to the Palestinians and other Arab people as they dismantled their colonies, then I guess Israel shouldn't be there.

That having happened a LONG time ago, looking at today and reality, the hatred on both sides is horrible, but the terrorism by and large seems to be instigated NOT by Israel.

btw, work to do and this has definitely shifted from US intervention in the world in the last 50 years being mostly bad or mostly good to the Israel/Palestine issue, which is much more controversial and volatile and I should probably withdraw.
