Gold und Charaktergebundene Items

In einem Beitrag im Diablo 3 Forum, äußert sich Bashiok, Diablo III Community Manager von Blizzard zu der Frage, ob Gold nun in der Fortsetzung etwas Wert sei. So wird der Wert nun im Gegensatz zu Diablo 2 um einiges mehr an Relevanz erhalten, so dass auch neue Spieler ihre Items einen "materiellen" Wert zuweisen können.

We want gold to be worth something in Diablo III, yes.

Diablo is a trading game, and we have no plans to change that. We don’t have any inclination to make items bind to a character, or otherwise remove trading opportunities.

Wofür das Gold noch gebraucht werden kann ist derzeit noch offen. Allerdings soll Diablo 3 weiterhin ein Handelsspiel sein, in dem es wohl keine bis kaum Charaktergebundene Gegenstände geben wird.

Will there be absolutely no items that will be bound to a character? It isn’t possible to say with any certainty at this point, there might be.
