I respect your opinion, but that was always something we didn't care for in EQ but had to do for tech reasons. If a human puts on the Crimson Breastplate of Armonder and then hands to a Barbarian and he puts it on, it should look pretty much the same. Yes, this is different than how EQ did it, but we very much feel 1. it's more realistic and will be easier to identify the item the character is wearing regardless of their race and 2. it will, as I've said, allow us therefore to create that many more outfits. In EQ, we would have had to create graphics for the Crimson Breastplate of Armonder for each race (assuming it didn't share the same graphic with another item). In Vanguard, we just have to make it once.
