I'm not saying you haven't released enough info, so don't read that wrong.

What I'm saying is everything you've released doesn't tell any one enough for them to see why they should switch from a game they know inside and out. It's impossible to convince some one how much better your game is than WoW, EQ2, FFXI, or whatever, with just words. We've been lied to, too many times to believe developers 100%, no offense.

The short of it is, I think what you just said would be better suited to say, once the game has been in retail for a month or two.

I totally agree. Seeing is believing. I have to get the word out about the game, but yes, a lot of it is about faith in our team, our pedigree, and previews and such made by journalists who have played or been demo'd the game, whether they be professional and work for a major site or publication or a smaller affiliate fan site. But until the game is out, a lot of people will be skeptical, and with good reason.

We are dropping the NDA at beta 5 and so you'll be able to hear what everyone thinks once we're at that point and the game is finished and polished enough where we're comfortable dropping the NDA. And then after release, if you are still super skeptical, hopefully you'll be able to check the game out at a friends house or hear from someone whom your personally know and trust and get their scoop on the game. But until then, we can but try to get as much information out as possible by posting on various boards, answering questions, maintaining a detailed FAQ, releasing videos and screenshots, etc.
