The ship needs two things. Life and clutter. Put crew on there! no man could ever handle such a ship alone. I would even like to see it done so that the ship could either be steered with friends on board, or you'd have to hire a crew. The crew could be running around or just stand around, but that's what I thought is missing when I first saw the ship. Besides the crew, as has been mentioned, it's too clean. But then, I don't think it'll be too bad if that doesn't change. It would be very nice if it did though.

I'm not very happy with the simbols over the questgivers heads. I won't question the point of having them in the first place right now, but I'd like them to look a bit more part of the world. They really stand out as it is... in a not fitting way. (Like you ripped a piece out of WoW and threw it into Vanguard) The UI has a similar problem, but does the overall job better, so maybe make it look more like an element of the rest of the UI? And, since I'm just tossing ideas out there, how about you make the questgiver simbol part of the target window? So it won't clutter up our screen, and you'd still have to klick on the NPCs to know they have a quest... you know, meet us half way

So far i have not seen a game that can handle shores in a way that looks good. Vanguard is no exception. The water just stops and the land begins. It just somehow doesn't feel quite right.

Animations looked jagged, but I attribute that to the impact making a movie has on the framerate. However, if that is not the main problem, animations still need ALOT attention. They don't make or break a game, but they sure make you feel more comfortable with a gameworld.

Please get in some mounting animation. Or even better, make you horse appear in a "logical" way, meaning, explainable in the gameworld, e.g. spelleffects, magical gateway, materialising from the distance running up to you, something like that. The same holds true for the ship. Maybe have it sail into the harbor when you summon it, or something like that.

Ok, that's it for now. Keep up the good work!

Horse mounting animation - hopefully coming.

New shaders to handle where water meets the land -- almost definitely coming.
