Like when its a "water meets mountain" they also have a cool effect for that. Hope Vanguard take some notes.
Brad about the horses....I know animation is comming but do they have in mind the right way to move the horse? like when going right it doesn't go right in one movement it actually curves with time...can't explain what I mean but the only game I have seen that is doing this right is Conan.
I'm confident we'll get it right -- we have great mo cap data and fantastically talented animators, plus great tech that's coming together. One of the biggest changes you'll see in Vanguard videos and such over the next couple of months is quality of animation in general and specifically to areas like you mention. The others would be overall polish, final tweaks to our lighting, weather, and a TON more outfits/armor sets/etc.
