Yes and no. I have no issues with it in general, but the driver support is definitely not as rich as XP 32 bit. So it depends. If you have a machine dedicated to gaming, I would go XP 64. If you have a machine that has to run all sorts of programs and has a lot of different devices and some of them aren't new then I'd stick to regular XP.

At home I have 3 machines, one runs XP, one XP 64, and one Vista RC 1. With the Vista RC 1 machine, I can dual boot into XP.

At work I have 2 machines, one runs XP 64, the other Vista RC 1, but I can also dual boot into regular XP with it.

The XP 64 machines are the ones I run Vanguard on for the performance increase.
