Also I have gathered that the world will be huge in area as well, so even traveling from one part of a continent to another would take you some time. My concern is that pick-up groups in each level range will be very difficult to find. This was a problem in Everquest 2 as well because they had at least 2 different areas you could advance in at any given level range. Three and more just sounds scarey. The only game where pickup groups were plentiful were OLD SCHOOL everquest 1. When i played you knew, "Ok now i do orc groups in commonlands, then i head to oasis of mar, than i head to lake of ill omen, etc." Most people that wanted to level would be in that area as well. Over-crowding was never a problem that i recall. Socializing was at its highest. Also i believe its less frustrating waiting for an opening in multiple groups in the same area rather than trying to form your own pickup group. At least you can solo or do something else while you wait knowing that you will get into a group. I know theres really nothing you can do at this point, but I hope that either tons and tons of people play vanguard or somehow you address this.
I look forward to playing Vanguard,

I hear you. That's why we have horses and ships to help you get from one place to another, the Caravan system to keep groups together, and an elaborate LFG system in the works which should not only help you find people for pick up groups, but also find people who have similar interests, playstyles, times they play, etc. so that when you use this system you hopefully will end up meeting people to group with that you become friends with, thereby building community, which is indeed the glue that holds these games together.
