Expensive (now, won't be in a year) but it will run the game at that resolution and it is playable. Once crossfire is enabled, my fps could go up 70%+. The new Core 2 Duo chips would be even faster (haven't tried them yet) because we are less CPU bound and it's more about moving memory around fast, so these new chips, even though they have a slower clock speed, would likely run Vanguard better.
