But the only thing that I saw that has me worried is that you said a shamans dot is better than the necros. Its seems to me the necro class, being a dot class, would have stronger. Perhaps once the necro gains sufficient lvls he'll get stronger dots? who knows. As Im planning on trying the necro, I'd hope this is the case. I think I'll play it anyway reguardless =P

This is what I wouldn't worry about or concern yourself with re: these stories. We are still very much in beta and tweaking classes, abilities, etc. I would advise enjoying the stories as a sneak peek into beta but not disect them too much as WAY too much is going to change between a write-up in beta and release.
