EQ2 already has fantastic lore and stories... and with the Gods returning to Norrath that can only get better. If they'd get off their ass and fix their PvP at least the game might be fun to play casually.

Vanguard is the big mystery... the big gamble... what will they end up rolling out! Vanguard is scheduled to release this winter, that means between dec 21, 2006 and March 21, 2007... at least that is what Aradune has stated at some point. I don't know if they have officially pushed it out further than that.


We're still saying this Winter but at the recent press demo last week, we also said first quarter 2007. So that narrows it down as comfortable as we are dong so at this point.

Lots of write-ups from the big press demo last friday starting to pop up, with more in the works, plus write-ups from the publications due soon.

I recently updated the 'everything about Vanguard' page on our site and list this information plus links to these articles, which contain some new information, some more clarity, and new screenshots. The big thing was that over 20 mainstream journalists, in addition to seeing a demo by Jeff and me and interviewing us all afternoon, also were able to sit in a room and play beta 3 all after noon. Good stuff.
