Kind of. It would take 15 minutes at 56 mph..... I dont think big wooden boats with sails could travel at 56mph do you? So it would take much longer than 15 minutes.

And every journey cant have pirates and sea monsters.. so no, i dont want to sit on a boat staring at nothing for half hour or more with nothing to do. I have a life.

Pretty sure the large sqare is 2sq miles, not the little squares within that big one. I may be wrong, but im pretty sure its the large square.

He's right about the approximately 110 miles -- I counted the 2km x 2km chunks along the ocean route (the highlighted area) and then coverted it to miles and got a similar number.
