Like I posted elsewhere in this thread just now, we started with the Unreal engine but it's been modified over the last 4 years so much, I wouldn't consider it the Unreal engine any more. It is an awesome engine and I'm glad we chose it -- also the Epic guys are fantastic, and their tools and support are great too -- I would definitely reccomend them, and not just for FPS games.
