Heh, probably, but seriously, one of the coolest guys I've ever met. You know when you have someone you've looked up to for a long time? An actor, a rock star, whatever... and you by chance get to meet them, and so often you find out that your image of them wasn't accurate -- that they had an attitude or thought they were too cool being all rich and famous.

Not Richard. When I met him I wasn't disillusioned at all. The guy is the real thing.

Another guy like this, btw, for all of you comic fans, is Jim Lee. I'm a huge comic freak, and Jim Lee is my favorite contemporary artist (e.g. there are other artists from different time periods who are my favorite during that period -- Steranko, Neal Adams, Schomburg, Kirby, etc.). Anyway, through EQ I got to know Jim, was in a little guild with him after I left SOE and before I started Sigil, and we've hung out a lot both in-game and out of game. Let me tell you, what a stand up guy. Totally cool, generous, not full of himself, etc. He even made me a guard at Arkham Asylum in the Batman run he did (Hush). I appear in two of the issues when they are putting Killer Croc away -- if you look at one of the guard's helmets you'll see McQuaid. And then I get punched out too, lol

Oh, and Stan Lee too -- don't know him as well, but the couple of times I have met him, he seems very genuine. Paul Levitz too. The guys from Fates Warning are cool -- I got to hang out with them once while they practiced up in their studios in LA and they were down to earth.

Anyway, nice to know that fame and fortune don't always lead to a big head.
