That right there might make gamers who just heard of Vanguard go "Oh crap it's another Sony game" and pull out, or people being ignorant and say "HA told you Sony was in control". Don't know if its just me but I try and get IGN to correct that line or just remove it, I don't know just my opinion though. Or am I overreacting?
Just some confusion over the details. Keep in mind that as you see more and more mainstream press, they are just now learning about the game, the company, etc. It's paramount that we hit the big sites and pubs, but there is a greater chance of something being typo'd, misunderstood, mis-quoted, etc. with the mainstream press vs. say with us posting on boards or doing interviews with fan sites, etc. It's just the way it works.
The guys doing mainstream press and pubs have TONS of games to cover and we VERY much appreciate their coverage of Vanguard, but we also realize that because they are so loaded with games to cover (just as we're loaded down with a game to make) that some stuff will come out that needs clearing up.
I just humbly ask you all, if you read something that doesn't sound right, please bring it up here and ask us whats up as opposed to worrying.
thanks all
