Zwar nicht viel, aber zumindest ein paar Infos von Besuchern der Fanguard. Vielleicht hören wir ja mehr in den nächsten Tagen.
Der dazugehörige thread: klick1) Druids in Vanguard are not a primary healing class. They are an arcane caster specializing in Nature, weather, disease etc type effects. They are just now beginning to put their skills together so not a ton of info available yet.
2) Inquisitor. This is a heavy plate class with psionic ability. Elidroth(Doug Cronkhite, dev in charge of skills) said they are going to be especially adept at taking out magic users.
3) Paladins are not a healing class. No lay on hands although they will have several other abilities. Was told that they are more of a "Holy Warrior with a cause" but couldn't get any specifics on what that meant.
4) Thestra is about the size of the real world island of Madagascar.
5) Spells from different classes and casters can combine to cause a completely new effect. I am not talking EQ2 HO's either. I don't completely understand it but it seems the magic system has an underlying structure and when certain elements come together you end up with additional effects. Hoping to find out more about that later today.

Hier der Link: klickPsionicists(sp?) are pretty cool. They have like a set bar of mental power. They can use a portion of it for certain spells to be maintained. Concentration basically. They also have instant powers which take away a portion of their mental power. But they can never use power being taken up by concentrated spells. These spells could be self buff, or some sort of buff on another person.
Clerics - Have both offensive and defensive abilities. Now, I'll have to question further to verify this information. But basically the cleric can specify a defensive target and do reactive healing on that person. While still being able to fight and cast offensive stuff on the offensive target. This definitly changes the role of the cleric from sitting and watching the group fight, to playing a much more involved roll in the group.
Sorcerers - They are a an elemental caster basically. They have stances in like Fire, Earth, Water, and Air. And as you chance stances you have different spells you can access. In the later levels, they'll be able to switch stances mid casting to form completely new elements. Like starting with Fire and then switching to Air, basically creating Smoke. And there will be lots of other combinations.
