I wonder if it is the "horse effect" in terms of the bad paladins. If so, they should be leaving the game soon.
I regularly group with an enchanter and together we rock. Here is my version of the top ten tips for enchanters:
Please don't buff as I pull as you have 3 hitpoints and -500 AC and die before I can save you. That silly assist key I spam is an indicator I am pulling.
Breeze and speed are nice. They are even better if I don't have to ask for them every 10 minutes for 6 hours straight.
Mezzing mobs is not a "nice to do occasionally" thing.
It would be best if you did not mez the single mob out of the four that I was tanking and instead mezzed the other three dancing on the druid's head because she cast regen. It is even better not to mez a single mob in the other group in the other room because you mistargeted thus pulling 5 of his buddies on top of us.
If given an option, I am going to kill the minions first and then the named. Please mez the named first.
Draining their power is not a "nice to do occasionally" thing.
I am going to tease you all night long if you break your own mezz before I call for assist because you have implied targeting on.
I am going to tease you even harder if you mez the group of mobs and then miskey and ae nuke them all.
Runnning around in circles screaming "Save me, save me, I'm on fire!" as the mobs chase you is highly enteraining but not conductive to me getting the mobs in range to taunt.
Everyone in the group yelling "ADD! ADD!" is an indicator to look around.
I hope this helps. I group with an enchanter every night. Despite my best efforts, he dies every night. Last night he wandered into lava. His only defense is that the druid dies more. And she does.
