Auf IGN gibt es eine neue Ausgabe des Ask SOE #38. In dieser Ausgabe werden Themen wie "locked encounters", Bevölkerungsdichte, "EQ-style Epic Quests" aber auch die anstehenden Kampfänderungen angesprochen.

Steve "Moorgard" Danuser: There are basically two major aspects to the combat changes. The first part involves code changes to the game, such as doing away with spell and item growth by level, changing the underlying mechanics of the spell system such as stacking rules and how avoidance and mitigation work, and revamping how the various combat formulas function. The second part involves examining the whole spell system itself, both for players and NPCs, and changing the way just about every spell or art works in some way.
